Lille Metro Modernization

Challenge Provide reliable control and interface solutions for a highly automated metro network operating under intensive daily service conditions.

Approach MAFELEC developed railway-certified HMI components focused on reliability, durability and seamless integration into metro operations.

Result The solutions improve operational efficiency, system availability and long-term reliability across the Lille Metro network.

M-Light for Paris Metro

Challenge Provide a modern LED lighting solution for metro vehicles that improves visibility, reliability and efficiency while meeting strict railway standards.

Approach MAFELEC deployed its M-Light technology, combining multiple lighting functions in a durable and railway-certified LED system.

Result The solution enhances operational safety, reduces maintenance requirements and supports the modernization of the Paris Metro fleet.

Siemens Mireo Cut-Off

Challenge Provide a reliable battery isolation system for modern regional trains that ensures safety during maintenance while meeting strict railway requirements.

Approach MAFELEC developed a railway-certified cut-off solution tailored to the Siemens Mireo platform, focusing on safety, reliability and easy integration.

Result The solution improves maintenance safety, operational reliability and long-term performance while supporting efficient fleet operation.

Bangkok Rail Lighting

Challenge Bangkok rail projects required compact LED lighting units that combined white and red functions while also matching different train designs, operator expectations, and line-specific visual identities.

Approach MAFELEC combined standard railway lights with custom optical units, using integrated LED assemblies, diffusing optical fibers, and adapted material choices to meet both functional and design needs.

Result The projects delivered reliable LED lighting for multiple Bangkok rail networks and showed MAFELEC's ability to create both standard and custom solutions for different operators and train platforms.
