Behind every connected device, sensor and control system is embedded software that has to work reliably, for years, in the field. The MAFELEC TEAM designs, develops and manufactures the electronics and software that make our systems intelligent.

A control panel, a sensor or a signalling device is only as reliable as the software running inside it. Behind the hardware you can see, there is firmware that has to run in real time, communicate over the right protocol, and keep working for the lifetime of the system it serves. Full Electronic System is the MAFELEC TEAM’s dedicated design office for electronics and embedded software. Founded in 2006, ISO 9001 certified, and recognised for research and innovation, the team designs, industrialises and manufactures connected industrial electronics — from feasibility study to hardware design, embedded and desktop software, PCB layout, and production. Each service can be delivered independently — CAD layout only, for example — or as a complete package: hardware and firmware design, PCB layout, industrialisation and manufacturing.
Analogue and digital circuit design, low-power and battery-powered systems, DC/DC conversion and filtering, for real-time microcontrollers (RTOS or bare-metal, including safety-relevant RTOS) and embedded Linux platforms
Firmware development for real-time microcontrollers, FPGA logic, and software for embedded Linux, PC-based HMIs and smartphone applications
Communicating and connected devices: LoRaWAN, Sigfox, LTE-M, MQTT and web services, RF (LoRa, 868 MHz), and wired communication via Ethernet, CAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and 4G/5G
Schematic capture, component placement and routing to IPC standards, from standard multilayer boards to HDI, flex, flex-rigid and high-speed designs
In-house rapid prototyping and small-to-medium series production, component sourcing, IPC-compliant wiring, functional testing and mechanical/mechatronic assembly
Certified Quality
ISO 9001 certified design office, recognised for research and development (French CII innovation tax credit accreditation)
Flexible Working Methods
V-model development for projects with a complete specification, or Agile methodology for iterative, modular projects
Layout & Manufacturing Expertise
CID+ and CID++ certified engineers for PCB layout and manufacturing-file review, working to IPC standards

Structured Validation
Formal validation plans and validation reports, backed by an in-house, calibrated test laboratory
Sectors Served
Railway, medical, digital, industry, energy and defense — the same demanding environments the MAFELEC TEAM serves as a whole
A connected product rarely starts as a finished idea. It starts as a requirement — read a meter remotely, capture a movement, monitor tyre pressure, display information on a wearable device. Full Electronic System accompanies that requirement from feasibility study through electronic design, embedded software development, PCB layout, industrialisation and, since 2024, in-house manufacturing of prototypes and small-to-medium series. More than 300 clients across 18 years of experience have trusted this process — because a product’s software and electronics keep evolving long after the first prototype ships.

Software Development is delivered by Full Electronic System, part of the MAFELEC TEAM. The same engineering approach that qualifies our switches, sensors and interfaces for railway, aerospace, defense, energy and industrial vehicle applications extends to the software and electronics inside them.
